Adults: $2:00 admission fee.
Children: $1.00 admission fee.

There is a trained docent available at the Nave during regular hours to answer general questions about  the exhibit. Explanatory brochures are available for most exhibits.

You may tour the McNamara House during regular museum hours:
(1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Tuesday - Sunday.)

Group visits:

We request that you make advance reservations for all groups of ten or more adults, or ten or more students with chaperones, when visiting either museum. Reservations should be made two weeks in advance.  For more information call (361) 575-8227.

Gallery Photography Policy:

Photography is not permitted in the Nave Museum; most of our exhibits are on loan from private collections or other institutions that request photographic restrictions.  Photography is also not allowed in the McNamara House Museum, primarily due to the delicate nature of the items on display. Movie and video cameras are also prohibited.

For press and other special photography, including filming and videotape projects, call the VRMA Office (361) 575-8227).

The Museum reserves the right to deny permission to photograph visiting exhibits or to reproduce photographs of its collection. The arrangements made with visiting exhibits often prohibit such activity. 

Accessibility:
Both the Nave Museum and the McNamara house are handicapped-accessible.

Parking:

Street parking is available.

Schedule your Special Event!

With its distinctive exhibits and beautiful architectural design, the Nave Museum provides the perfect atmosphere for your special events - anything from  social and business meetings to weddings. To discuss renting our beautiful museum, call the VRMA office  (361) 575-8227.) (Please be aware that there are no kitchen facilities in the Nave Museum. However, catering of your event is welcomed.)
